Is-sinjal għal BUTIR isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda titwaqqaf bil-pala tħares ’il fuq. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ U bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u xxejjer minn tarf sa tarf tal-id il-wieqfa biex tfarfar il-pala tal-id bil-ġenb tas-saba’ tan-nofs.
The sign for BUTTER is made with both hands. One hand is held stationary with palm facing upwards. The other hand takes the shape of U with palm facing downwards and swings over the stationary hand from one end to the other whilst the side of the middle finger brushes against the palm.
