Hemm żewġ sinjali jixxiebħu għal FRANZA. L-ewwel sinjal isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ F ikkurvata bil-pala ta’ l-id tħares laġenba jew ’il ġewwa u bl-id mgħollija ’l fuq quddiem il-ħalq. L-id tersaq ’il barra lejn il-ġenb f’linja orizzontali.

It-tieni sinjal isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ F ikkurvata bil-pala ta’ l-id tħares laġenba jew ’il barra quddiem il-ħalq. L-id iddur ’il ġewwa biex il-pala tiġi tħares ’il ġewwa.

Varjazzjoni tas-sinjal issir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq u bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn l-oħra bis-swaba’ jħarsu ’l barra. L-idejn jimxu ftit f’linja djagonali ’l fuq waqt li jersqu lejn xulxin sakemm jiltaqgħu s-swaba’. Din il-forma tfakkar fit-torri ta’ Eiffel.

There are two signs for FRANCE. The first sign is made with one hand in an F shape with the palm facing sideways or inwards and the hand raised to mouth level. The hand twists so that the palm faces outwards at neck level.

The second sign is also made with one hand in an F shape with the palm facing sideways or inwards and the hand raised to mouth level. The hand then turns so that it faces inwards.

A variation of this sign is made with two hands in the shape of closed 5 with palms facing each other and fingers pointing outwards. The hands move up diagonally towards each other until the fingers meet. This shape reminds one of the shape of the Eiffel Tower.
