Is-sinjal għal KANĊER jikkonsisti f’żewġ partijiet marbutin ma’ xulxin. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal MARID b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ C kbira bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. L-id timxi quddiem il-wiċċ u tmiss mal-ġbin hi u għaddejja. (ii) Imbagħad l-id tagħti skoss żgħir ’il quddiem waqt li tibqa’ żżomm il-forma ta’ C kbira.
The sign for CANCER is made up of two blended signs. (i) First the sign for SICK is made with one hand that takes the shape of a large C with palm facing the side. The hand moves in front of the face and touches the forehead as it moves. (ii) Then the hand moves forward with a small jerk keeping the same large C shape.
