Is-sinjal ta’ KAP isir b’ id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ K u ttaptap xi darbtejn fuq l-ispalla tan-naħa l-oħra. Dan is-sinjal jintuża ukoll bħala prefiss għal sinjali oħra, per eżempju, ta’ dipartiment jew ta’ skola jew partit politiku.

Ara ukoll is-sinjal MEXXEJ li jintuża iktar għal mexxej ta’ grupp ta’ żgħażagħ jew grupp inqas uffiċjali.

The sign for HEAD is made with one hand that takes the shape for K (the first letter of the Maltese word “kap” for “boss”) and taps twice or more on the other shoulder. It is also used as a prefix in other signs such as head of department, or school or political party.

See also the sign for LEADER that is used more for the leader of a youth group or other unofficial group.
