Is-sinjal għal KMANDAMENTI magħmul minn tliet partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal GĦAXRA. Id waħda l-ewwel tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 imbagħad ta’ 0 ftit fil-għoli. (ii) Imbagħad id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq u titqiegħed fin-nofs bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ L bil-pala tħares ’il barra u, bis-saba’ l-kbir, tagħti daqqa darba jew darbtejn fuq il-pala tal-id il-wieqfa. (iii) Fl-aħħar isir is-sinjal għal ALLA biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn il-pala tal-id l-oħra. L-idejn jitqiegħdu lura fil-ġenb għola mill-ispalla. Id waħda titqiegħed iktar ’il fuq mill-oħra. Varjazzjoni tal-ewwel parti jsir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 u l-oħra ta’ 0. L-idejn jimxu kemm kemm ’il fuq. Kultant is-sinjal għal GĦAXRA jsir wara s-sinjal għal LIĠI.
The sign for COMMANDMENTS consists of three parts. (i) In the first part the sign for TEN is made. One hand takes the shape of 1 and the other of 0. The hands move forward slightly. (ii) The second part is made with one hand in the shape of closed 5 held stationary in the middle with the palm facing sideways. The other hand takes the shape of L with the palm facing outwards. This hand hits the stationary hand lightly once or twice with the thumb against the palm. (iii) Finally, the sign for GOD is made with both hands in the shape of 1 with palms facing each other. The hands are placed at the side to the back at shoulder level. One hand is placed higher up than the other. A variation of the first part, the sign for 10, uses both hands. One hand takes the shape of 1 and the other of 0. The hands move forward slightly. Sometimes the first part part is made after the second part.
