Hemm żewġ sinjali ftit differenti għal LASAGNA. L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal imqassar għal GĦAĠIN. Id waħda tieqaf forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’il fuq. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ V bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. Is-swaba’ tal-V iduru ftit waqt li jogħlew ’il fuq mil-pala tal-id il-wieqfa. (ii) Imbagħad id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 laxka bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u timxi mill-polz orizzontalment xi tlett darbiet waqt li togħla. It-tieni sinjal isir b’id waħda li tieqaf forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’il fuq waqt li l-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ L bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u timxi minn naħa għall-oħra tal-pala l-wieqfa u terġa tirrepeti l-moviment waqt li l-id forma ta’ L titla’ iktar ’il fuq.
There are two slightly different signs for LASAGNA. The first sign has two parts. (i) First the shortened sign for PASTA is made. One hand is held stationary in the shape of 5 with palm facing upwards. The other hand takes the shape of V with palm facing downwards. The V fingers turn a little as the hand moves upwards over the palm of the stationary hand. (ii) Then one hand takes the shape of loose 5 with palm facing downwards. It moves vertically at the wrist about three times as it moves upwards. The second sign is made with one hand that is held stationary in the shape of 5 with palm facing upwards whilst the other hand takes the shape of L with palm facing downwards and moves from one end to the other of the stationary hand. This movement is repeated as the L hand moves a little higher up.
