Is-sinjal għal LIFT isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ L bil-pala tħares ’il barra. L-id titla’ dritt ’il fuq malajr minn pożizzjoni ’l isfel ħafna, fin-nofs sa livell għola mir-ras.
Dan hu ukoll is-sinjal għal TELA’ BIL-LIFT. Normalment il-persuna tiġi msemmija qabel jew wara, skond l-enfasi.
The sign for LIFT is made with one hand that takes the shape of L with palm facing outwards. The hand moves up quickly from a position far down, in the middle, to a point higher than head level.
The same sign is used for GO UP IN A LIFT. Normally, the subject is mentioned before or after depending on the emphasis.
