Hemm żewġ sinjali jixxiebħu għal ĦAL LUQA. L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ L bil-pala tħares ’l barra. (ii) L-id tinżel ftit l-isfel waqt li tinbidel malajr fil-forma ta’ Y u ddur għall-ġenb ’l ieħor u ’l fuq biex ifakkar fit-titjira tal-ajruplan.
It-tieni sinjal ukoll għandu żewġ partijiet (i) Fl-ewwel parti isir is-sinjal għal H jew Ħ u jinbidel malajr għall-forma ta’ L imbagħad ta’ Y. (ii) Imbagħad l-id forma ta’ Y ddur għall-ġenb l-ieħor u ’l fuq biex ifakkar fit-titjira tal-ajruplan.
There are two similar signs for ĦAL LUQA. The first sign consists of two parts. (i) First one hand takes the shape of L with palm facing outwards. (ii) The hand then moves down as it changes to a Y shape and turns upwards towards the other side to remind one of a plane flying.
The second sign also consists of two parts. (i) First the hand takes the shape of H or Ħ and quickly changes to the shape of L and then of Y. (ii) Then the hand in the shape of Y with palm facing downwards moves to the other side, rising a little as it does so reminding one of a plane flying.
