Is-sinjal għal MALTI l-istess bħas-sinjal għal MALTA li jsir b’id waħda bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-id tieħu l-forma ta’ U imbaghad tagħmel forma ta’ salib biż-żewġt iswaba’ tal-U fuq in-naħa l-oħra tas-sider. Dan ifakkar fis-salib ta’ Malta.
The sign for MALTESE is the same as the sign for MALTA which is made with one hand with the palm facing inwards. The hand takes the shape of U and the two fingers of the U shape make a cross sign on the upper chest of the other side. This reminds one of the Maltese Cross.
