Is-sinjal għal MELĦ għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti ssir b’id waħda forma ta’ 5 kkurvata u bil-pala tħares ’il barra. L-id titbandal ftit mill-polz minn naħa għall-oħra. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal ABJAD. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. Il-werrej jimxi ’l quddiem fuq l-għonq.
The sign for SALT has two parts. (i) The first part is made with one hand in the shape of curved 5 with palm facing outwards. The hand swings a little at the wrist from one side to another. (ii) Then the sign for WHITE is made. One hand takes the shape of 1 with palm facing inwards. The index finger moves forward along the neck.
