Hemm żewġ sinjali għal MESSIKU. L-ewwel sinjal b’id waħda forma ta’ V ikkurvata lura. Is-swaba’ tal-V jitbandlu ’l barra mill-ġenb tal-ġbin xi darbtejn jew iktar. Varjazzjoni ta’ dan is-sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn.

It-tieni sinjal isir magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti ssir biż-żewġ idejn forma ta’ Ċ u bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-idejn jitqiegħdu man-ngħas u jimxu distanza sostanzjali lejn ’il ġenb fuq il-livell tar-ras. Dan ifakkar fil-kappell jew sombrero kbir tal-Messikani. (ii) It-tieni parti hija s-sinjal għal KITARRA. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ A. Id waħda titqiegħed bil-pala tħares ’il fuq fuq il-livell tas-sider imma fil-ġenb. L-id l-oħra titqiegħed livell mal-qadd, bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa u titla’ u tinżel mill-polz qisha tmiss mal-qadd, qisha qed tmiss il-kordi tal-kitarra.

There are two signs for MEXICO. The first sign is made with one hand in the shape of V curved backwards. The V fingers swing out from the side of the forehead twice or more. A variation of this sign is made with both hands.

The second sign consists of two parts. (i) The first part is made with both hands in the shape of C with palms facing downwards. The hands are placed on the sides of the forehead and move sideways a considerable distance at head level. This reminds one of the large Mexican sombrero. (ii) The second part is the sign for GUITAR. Both hands take the shape for A. One hand is placed at chest level with palm facing upwards out at the side. The other hand is placed at waist level with palm facing inwards. The hand moves up and down from the wrist brushing against the waist as if striking the chords of a guitar.
