Is-sinjal għal MKIEN isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id tieqaf momentarjament fuq punti differenti. Fl-istess ħin l-espressjoni tal-wiċċ turi n-negattività, partikolament bil-ħuġbejn imtellgħin. Ir-ras tagħmel moviment żgħir min-naħa għall-oħra.
Hemm varjazzjonijiet ta’ dan is-sinjal. Wieħed juża s-sinjal għal HEMM u fl-istess ħin ir-ras tiċċaqlaq bil-mod minn naħa għal oħra bħal meta ngħidu “le” mingħajr ma nitkellmu.
The sign for NOWHERE is made with one hand that takes the shape for 1 with palm facing downwards. The hand stops momentarily at different points in front. At the same time the facial expression shows negativity, particularly through the raising of the eyebrows. The head also makes a small side to side movement.
There are other variations for the sign. One uses the sign for THERE and at the same time the head moves slowly from side to side as though indicating “no” without saying it.
