Is-sinjal għal IMQAJJEM isir biż-żewġ idejn forma ta’ ponn bis-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jiffurmaw ċirku ftit ’il quddiem il-ġnub tal-għajnejn bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn il-pala tal-id l-oħra. Is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jinfetħu malajr għall-forma ta’ L u l-għajnejn jinfetħu beraħ.
The sign for AWAKE or ALERT is made with both hands in the shape of fist with the thumb and index finger forming a circle a little forward of the sides of eyes with palms facing each other. The thumbs and index fingers quickly open up to form an L and the eyes open wide.
