Is-sinjal għal NEWCASTLE isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ N bis-swaba’ ggranċjati. L-idejn jitqiegħdu quddiem fil-ġenb bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn l-oħra. L-idejn jitilgħu b’qabżiet żgħar lejn in-nofs f’livell ’il fuq mir-ras u s-swaba’ li jiffurmaw l-N jiltaqgħu. Dan ifakkar fil-forma ta’ kastell.
The sign for NEWCASTLE is made with both hands in the shape of N with the fingers clawed. The hands are placed at the front at the side with the palms facing each other. The hands jump up in small steps towards the middle to above head level and the fingers forming the N meet. This reminds one of the shape of a castle.
