Is-sinjal għal OFTALMOLOGU għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għal TABIB. Dan is-sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn laxk u titqiegħed quddiem is-sider bil-pala tal-id tħares ’l isfel. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 3 milwi u dawn is-swaba’ jżommu l-polz tal-id wieqfa. (ii) Imbagħad, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 u tmiss l-ewwel il-ħadd taħt għajn waħda imbagħad taħt l-għajn l-oħra.
The sign for OPHTHALMOLOGIST has two parts. (i) The sign for DOCTOR is made in the first part. This sign is made with both hands. One hand takes the shape of a loose fist and is placed forward at chest level with the palm facing downwards. The other hand takes the shape of bent 3 and these fingers hold the pulse of the stationary hand. (ii) Then, one hand takes the shape of 1 and first touches the cheek just under one eye and then under the other eye.
