Is-sinjal għal PILATU jixbaħ is-sinjal għal ĦASEL IDEJH. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 u l-pala ta’ id waħda timsaħ l-wara tal-id l-oħra imbagħad jerġa jsir dan bil-kontra qisu bħal meta wieħed jaħsel idejh.
The sign for PILATE resembles that for WASH ONE’S HANDS. Both hands take the shape of 5 with the palm of one hand wiping the back of the other hand. This is repeated with the hands reversing roles as when washing one’s hands.
