Il-werrej imiss in-nofs tal-ġbin bil-ponta u jibqa’ nieżel mill-livell tal-ġbin sa’ taħt il-geddum. Varjazzjoni ta’ dan is-sinjal tispiċċa tmiss il-geddum bil-ġenb tal-werrej.

There are two signs for PORTUGAL. The first sign is made with one hand in the shape of 1. The hand is placed in front of the face with the palm facing sideways. The index fingertip touches the middle of the forehead and continues downwards from the forehead to below the chin. A variation of this sign ends with the side of the index finger touching the chin.
The second sign is made with one hand with the first three fingers protruding. The hand jumps from the front of the chest outwards.
