Hemm żewġ sinjali għal RECEPTIONIST. L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet it-tnejn magħmulin b’id waħda. (i) Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għall-ittra R. (ii) Fit-tieni parti l- id tinbidel fil l-forma ta’ Y bil-pala tħares lejn il-wiċċ u titqiegħed fuq il-widna u terġa titneħħa ftit darbtejn.

It-tieni sinjal jixbaħ l-ewwel wieħed. L-ewwel parti hija l-istess – is-sinjal għal R. It-tieni parti jixbaħ dik tal-ewwel sinjal imma jsir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ Y imma bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-idejn jitqiegħdu fil-ġnub ftit ’l isfel mill-wicc u jimxu ftit ’il barra u jersqu lura xi tlett darbiet jew iktar.

There are two signs for RECEPTIONIST. The first sign consists of two parts, both made with one hand. (i) The first part is the sign for the letter R. (ii) In the second part the hand changes to the shape for Y with palm facing the side. It is placed at the ear and moved slightly away twice.

The second is resembles the first. The first part is the same – the sign for the letter R. The second part resembles that of the first sign but whilst both hands take on the Y handshape, the palms face downwards and the hands are placed at the sides a little below the face. They move outward and back again a little three or more times.
