Is-sinjal għal RESTORANT magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti hija s-sinjal għal STABBILIMENT. Dan is-sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l- forma ta’ 1 bil-pala tal-id tħares ’il barra. Il-werrej ta’ id imiss mal-werrej tal-id l-oħra livell mal-wiċċ. L-idejn jitbiegħdu laġenba u ’l isfel u jiffurmaw linja b’angolu rett. (ii) It-tieni parti hija s-sinjal għal KIEL. Dan isir b’id waħda bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. Is-swaba’ kollha tal-id imissu lil xulxin u l-id tmiss mal-ħalq.
The sign for RESTAURANT is made up of two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for ESTABLISHMENT. This is made with both hands in the shape of 1 with palms facing outwards. The index fingers touch and then move away to the side and then downwards to form right angles. (ii) The second part is the sign for EAT. This is made with one hand with palm facing inwards. All the fingers touch each other and then the hand touches the mouth.
