Is-sinjal għal RUNWAY għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għal TRIQ, jiġifieri, ż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq u jitqiegħdu bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn il-pala tal-id l-oħra qrib ta’ xulxin. L-idejn jimxu flimkien ’il quddiem. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal LANDING. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ Y bil-pala tal-id tħares ’il barra. L-id tinżel minn fuq l-ispalla l-isfel għall-livell tal-id l-oħra li tibqa’ fejn kienet għas-sinjal għal TRIQ. Dan jirrapreżenta ajruplan nieżel għal fuq ir-runway.

The sign for RUNWAY has two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for ROAD. Both hands take the shape of closed 5 and are placed with palms facing each other. The hands move outwards a little to the side together. (ii) The second part is similar to the sign for AEROPLANE LANDING. This sign is made with one hand in the shape of Y with palm facing outwards. The hand moves down from the shoulder to the same level as the other hand which remains in the same place as for the sign ROAD. This represents an aeroplane landing onto the runway.
