Is-sinjal għal SERDUK isir mingħajr moviment. L-id tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba mifrudin. Is-saba’ l-kbir imiss il-ġbin bejn il- ħuġbejn (jew ifakkrek fl-għalla tas-serduk).

Is-sinjal għal ŻGĦIR jew għal KBIR isir bl-idejn forma ta’ 5 li jħarsu lejn xulxin f’linja orizzontali jew vertikali. Id-distanza bejn l-idejn tindika d-daqs tas-serduk. Is-sinjal għal SERDUK jiġi qabel is-sinjal għal ŻGĦIR jew KBIR

Is-sinjal għal ĦAFNA jiġi wara s-sinjal għal SERDUK. Id waħda jew iż-żewġ idejn bil-forma ta’ 8 mgħawweġ jew V mgħawġa jintużaw bħala classifier u jitqiegħdu f’postijiet differenti fiż-żona tas-sinjali bħallikieku hemmhekk qed jitqiegħdu ħafna sriedak.

Meta n-nom SERDUK ikun is-suġġett ta’ verb ta’ moviment, l-id bil-forma ta’ 8 mgħawweġ jew V mgħawġa tintuża bħala classifier u timxi skond l-azzjoni. Ix-xufftejn ukoll jirriflettu l-għaġla jew l-lajma tal-moviment billi jirtogħdu skond il-pass tal-moviment.

The sign for COCK is made with no movement. The hand takes the shape of 5 with the palm facing outwards and the fingers stretched out apart. The thumb touches the forehead between the eyebrows (jew resembling the cock’s crest).

The signs for SMALL and for BIG are made with two hands in the shape of 5 with palms facing each other in a horizontal or vertical direction. The distance between the hands indicates the relative size of the cock. The sign for COCK is used before the sign for SMALL or BIG.

The sign for MANY is used following COCK to indicate plurality. A classifier is often used. In this case one or both hands take the shape of curved 8 or curved V. They are placed at various points in the signing space as though several cocks were actually being put into that space.

When the noun COCK is the subject of a verb of movement, the hand in the shape of curved 8 or curved V is used as a classifier and the appropriate hand movement is made. Lip movements, such as trembling, are used to reflect the speed of movement.
