Is-sinjal għal SKARPAN magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti ssir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ F bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn il-pala l-oħra. Is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej taż-żewġ idejn joqogħdu ħdejn xulxin waqt li l-idejn iduru kontra xulxin, waħda tibda ddur ’l quddiem u l-oħra lura darbtejn jew iktar. (ii) Imbagħad id waħda titqiegħed forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares ’l isfel waqt li l-id l-oħra, ukoll forma ta’ 5 kemm kemm milwija timsaħ il-wiċċ tal-ewwel id minn fuq is-swaba’ sal-polz.
The sign for SHOEMAKER consists of two parts. (i) The first part is made with both hands which take the shape of F with palms facing each other. The thumb and index fingers of both hands stay close to each other whilst the hands rotate alternately, first one forward and the other backward, twice or more. (ii) Then one hand takes the shape of 5 with palm facing downwards whilst the other hand, in the shape of very slightly bent 5, wipes the top of the first hand from the fingers to the wrist.
