Is-sinjal għal SOTTOMARIN isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq. Id waħda titqiegħed wieqfa bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u bis-swaba’ jħarsu lejn in-naħa tal-ġenb l-ieħor. L-id l-oħra timxi bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa minn livell ogħla mill-id wieqfa u tinżel taħt l-id wieqfa u tibqa’ għaddejja lejn il-ġenb.
