L-id timtedd mill-minkeb waqt li d-driegħ ta’ fuq jagħfas mal-ġenb tal-ġisem waqt li d-driegħ t’isfel jagħmel moviment żgħir ’il fuq. (ii) Imbagħad, l-id tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 kemm kemm milwi li jitqiegħed bis-swaba’ jmissu, jew kważi, l-ġenb tal-ġbin imbagħad jiċċaqlaq ftit biex jersaq kemm kemm ’il barra mill-ġbin.

The sign for SOLDIER consists of two parts. (i) First, one hand takes the shape of a fist with the palm facing upwards. The hand lies horizontally from the elbow whilst the upper arm presses against the side of the body whilst the lower arm makes a small upward movement. (ii) The hand then takes the shape of slightly bent 5 with the fingers touching – or almost – the side of the foreheand. Then the hand moves slightly outwards, away from the forehead.
