Is-sinjal għal VATIKAN għandu żewġ partijiet. L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal QAGĦAD. Dan isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq bil-pala ta’ l-id laġenba u bit-tarf tas-swaba’ imissu man-ngħas. Imbagħad, l-id tersaq ’il barra u titgħawweġ mill-għekiesi bħal fis-sinjal għal DAR. Fit-tieni parti jsir is-sinjal għal PAPA. Dan jibda b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq u titqiegħed mal-ġenb tar-ras imbagħad toħroġ’il barra. Imbagħad l-id l-oħra ukoll tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq u titqiegħed ’il barra mir-ras. L-idejn jitilgħu flimkien ’l fuq u jiltaqgħu ’il fuq mir-ras. Dan il-moviment ifakkar fil-forma tal-beritta li jilbes il-Papa.

The sign for VATICAN is made up of two parts. The first part is the sign for RESIDE. This is made with one hand in the shape of closed 5 with palm facing sideways and the fingertips lightly touching the side of the forehead. Then the hand moves out from the position in the first part and and bends at the knuckles. This is the same as the sign for HOUSE. The second part is the sign for POPE. This starts with one hand in the shape of closed 5. The hand is placed at the side of the head and then moves out. The other hand takes the same closed 5 shape and is placed out from the head. The two hands then move up together and meet over the head. In this way they form a shape that reminds one of the beret worn by the Pope.
