Is-sinjal għal WIED isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq bil-pala tal-id tħares ’il fuq djagonalment. L-idejn jersqu lejn xulxin minn livell għali fil-ġenb sakemm jiltaqgħu biex il-ġenb tal-pala ta’ id tmiss mal-ġenb tal-id l-oħra. Il-pala ta’ kull id tispiċċa mxaqilba ’l ġewwa.

The sign for VALLEY is made with both hands that take the shape of closed 5 with the palms facing upwards diagonally. The hands move towards each other from a high level at the sides until they meet, such that one side of the palm touches the side of the other palm. The palms lean inwards.
Sometimes the hands meet at the wrists.
