Hemm żewġ sinjali ftit differenti għal XALLA. L-ewwel sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn forma ta’ T. Id waħda tieqaf ftit fil-ġenb taħt l-ispalla. L-id l-oħra ddur dawra kbira fil-ġenb imbagħad tispicca qrib tal-id l-oħra wara li l-id tinfetaħ qisu tkun tefgħet xi ħaġa minn fuq l-ispalla. It-tieni sinjal isir bl-idejn forma ta’ T. Id waħda tieqaf mimduda qrib tas-sider. L-id l-oħra titla’ u ddur mar-ras ftit ’il fuq mir-ras u terġa tinżel lejn il-ġenb l-ieħor. L-ewwel id tersaq lejn l-ispalla,
There are two slightly different signs for SHAWL. The first sign is made with both hands in the shape of T. One hand is held stationary at the side below the shoulder. The other hand makes a large circular movement at the side then ends up close to the other hand whilst the hand opens up as though it has thrown something over the shoulder. The second sign is made with the hands in the shape of T. One hand is held lying aross the chest. The other hand moves up and goes round the head, a little away from it, and then moves back down towards the other side. The first hand also moves towards the shoulder.
