Hemm żewġ varjazzjonijiet tas-sinjal għal XJENZA. L-ewwel sinjal jsir biż-żewġ idejn bis-swaba’ qrib xulxin u jmissu. L-idejn jistrieħu fuq xulxin mill-ewwel żewġt iswaba’ u jitbandlu, l-ewwel id waħda togħla laġenba imbagħad l-oħra xi erba’ darbiet. It-tieni sinjal qisu l-ewwel wieħed imma bis-swaba’ qrib xulxin jmissu u l-idejn jistrieħu fuq xulxin waqt li jitbandlu.
There are two variations of the sign for SCIENCE. The first is made with both hands with fingers close together. The hands lean towards each other at the first two fingers and swing sideways, with one hand moving upwards and then the other about four times. The second sign is like the first but is made with fingers touching and the hands leaning on each other.
