Is-sinjal għal ĦALLIEL isir b’id waħda forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba mifrudin u bil-pala tħares ’l isfel bis-saba’ l-kbir in-naħa ta’ ġewwa. L-id iddur orizzontalment mill-polz li jibqa’ fl-istess post waqt li s-swaba’ jduru u fl-aħħar jingħalqu f’ponn laxk.
The sign for THIEF is made with one hand in the shape of 5 with fingers apart and the palm facing downwards such that the thumb is on the inside. The hand rotates horizontally at the wrist which stays in place whilst the fingers move and finally close into a loose fist.
