Meta n-nom ĦASKI jkun is-suġġett ta’ verb ta’ moviment, tintuża l-istess classifier jew l-id forma ta’ 5 mgħawweġ u fl-istess ħin l-id timxi skond l-azzjoni.

There are two different signs for HUSKY. The first sign is made up of two parts. (jew i) First, the sign for DOG is made, that is, with the hand in the shape of upright U at the side of the forehead with the palm facing outwards. (jew ii) In the second part, the first sign makes the sign for SNOW. Both hands take the shape of F but with the closed fingers forming the shape for O and with palms facing outwards. The hands move down in a zigzag pattern.

The second sign has the same first part. Then, one hand takes the shape of A with the palm facing downwards. This hand does not move and resembles the hand that holds the sleigh driven by huskies in the snow. The other hand takes the shape of X with the thumb touching the index finger. This hand moves several times from a position with the palm up to a position with the palm down as if using a whip.

The sign for HUSKY followed by the sign for BABY or for SMALL is used for a PUP. The signs for SMALL and BIG are made with two hands in the shape of 5 with palms facing each other vertically or diagonally with the distance between the hands indicating the relative size.

The plural is formed by adding the sign for MANY after the sign for HUSKY. A classifier is often used. In this case one or both hands take the shape of curved V. They are placed at various points in the signing space as though several dogs were actually being put into that space.

The same classifier or a curved 5 hand is used when the noun HUSKY is the subject of a verb of movement and moves accordingly.
