Hemm żewġ sinjali għal ABBANDUNAT(A). L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti issir b’id waħda forma ta’ 5 li l-ewwel titqiegħed ’l isfel bil-pala mdawra ’il barra u timxi ’l barra lejn il-ġenb. (ii) Imbagħad l-id tinbidel forma ta’ 1 bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa waqt li tibqa’ fuq quddiem. Imbagħad l-id tinżel f’daqqa ’l isfel. It-tieni sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet ukoll. (i) Id waħda tieħu forma ftit mgħawġa bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. L-id iddur quddiem jew ħdejn il-wiċċ. (ii) L-id tidritta u tieħu l-forma ta’ 5. Imbagħad tagħti skoss ’il barra u l-pala tiġi tħares ’il barra. L-espressjoni tal-wiċċ serja.
There are two signs for ABANDONED. The first sign has two parts. (i) One hand takes the shape of 5 that is first placed low down with the palm twisted to face outwards. The hand moves towards the side. (ii) Then the hand changes to a 1 shape with palm facing inwards whilst it remains at the front. Then the hand moves downwards suddenly. The second sign also has two parts. (i) The hand takes a twisted shape with palm facing the side. The hand moves in front of or near the face. (ii) The hand straightens and takes the shape of 5. Then it moves jerkily outwards and the palm faces outwards. The facial expression is serious.
