Hemm żewġ sinjali jixxiebħu għal AFFAXXINAT(A). L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel parti ssir biż-żewġ idejn forma ta’ 5 miftuħa bis-swaba’ separati u bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-idejn l-ewwel jitqiegħdu mimdudin taħt l-għonq bis-swaba’ imrikkbin ftit fuq xulxin u l-espressjoni normalment hu dak ta’ wiċċ ferħan bil-ħalq miftuħ jirrifletti s-sorpriża waqt li l-ispalel jogħlew. (ii) Imbagħad, l-idejn jitilgħu u s-swaba’ jferfru ftit ’il fuq u ’l barra bħas-sinjal għal FERĦAN. It-tieni sinjal ukoll għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħa bis-swaba’ separati u bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-idejn l-ewwel jitqiegħdu mimdudin waħda iktar ’l fuq mill-oħra u jingħafsu kemm kemm. L-ispalel jogħlew u jinżlu ftit. (ii) Imbagħad, l-id l-iktar ’il fuq titla’u toħroġ u tferfer kemm kemm ’il barra u ’l fuq.
There are two similar signs for FASCINATED. The first sign has two parts. (i) The first part is made with both hands in the shape of open 5 with fingers apart and palms facing inwards. The hands are first placed lying horizontally below neck level with fingers overlapping a little and with a happy facial expression and an open mouth reflecting surprise whilst the shoulders are lifted. (ii) Then, the hands move up the fingers flutter a little upwards and outwards as in the sign for HAPPY. The second sign also has two parts. (i) First, the hands take the shape of open 5 with fingers apart and palms facing inwards. The hands are first placed lying one higher up than the other and press inwards a little. The shoulders rise and fall a little (ii) Then the hand that is highest moves up and out and flutters a little outwards and upwards.
