Is- sinjal għal AFFEZZJONAT(A) għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħa bis-swaba’ separati (jew ta’ 5 bis-swaba’ flimkien) u l-pala ’l ġewwa. L-id titqiegħed mimduda ftit ’l isfel mill-għonq u tingħafas ftit. (ii) Imbagħad l-id titla’ u toħroġ ’il barra u togħla quddiem ix-xufftejn bħallikieku se tbusha u tibqa’ ħierġa iktar barra u lejn il-ġenb.
The sign for AFFECTIONATE has two parts. (i) First, one hand takes the shape of open 5 with fingers apart (or of closed 5) and the palm facing inwards. The hand is placed lying along below neck level and presses inwards a little. (ii) Then the hand moves out and up in front of the lips as though about to kiss the hand and then continues outwards and towards the side.
