Is-sinjal għal AKKUMPANJA jista’ jitqies bħala frażi ta’ erba’ partijiet u mhux sinjal kompost. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal MAR. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq, bil-pala tħares laġenba u s-swaba’ jħarsu ’l quddiem. L-id timxi ’l quddiem. (ii) Fit-tieni parti jsir is-sinjal għal WIEĦED għalkemm dan jista’ jitqies parti mis-sinjal għal FLIMKIEN. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 1 u l-ponot tal-werrejja jmissu. Fil-każ fejn ma tkunx persuna waħda biss li tiġi akkumpanjata id waħda tieħu l-forma tan-numru ta’ persuni minflok. (iii) Imbagħad id waħda bil-forma ta’ 1 iddur fuqha nnifisha. (iv) Fl-aħħar isir is-sinjal għal PERSUNA. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ Ċ magħluqa bil-pala tħares ’il barra. L-id tinżel dritt ’l isfel fil-ġenb. Minflok, il-persuna tista’ tiġi msemmija b’isimha.
The sign for ACCOMPANY can be considered a phrase of four parts rather than a composite sign. (i) The first part is the sign for GO. One hand takes the shape for closed 5 with palm facing sideways and the fingers pointing forward. The hand moves forward. (ii) The second part is the sign ONE flowing into the sign for TOGETHER. Both hands take the shape for 1 and the index fingers meet. If more than one person is being accompanied, the appropriate number sign is made instead. These first two parts are the essential parts of the sign. (ii) Then one hand in the shape of 1 rotates around itself. (iv) Finally, the sign for PERSON is made with one hand in the shape of closed C with palm facing outwards. The hand moves straight down at the side. The person accompanied may be mentioned by name instead.
