Hemm żewġ sinjali għal ALLEGRU. L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal FERĦAN. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħa bis-swaba’ separati u bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-idejn jitqiegħdu mimdudin fuq is-sider u jagħmlu moviment żgħir u mgħaġġel qisu qed ifarfru imma jibqgħu fl-istess post. (ii) Imbagħad jinbidlu fil-forma ta’ 1 u jitilgħu fuq il-ġnub tax-xufftejn qisu qed jiġbduhom lejn il-ġnub u l-werrej jagħmel skoss ’il barra mix-xufftejn ’il fuq. Il-wiċċ jitbissem. It-tieni sinjal huwa s-sinjal għal FERĦAN, jiġifieri l-ewwel parti tal-ewwel sinjal.
There are two signs for CHEERFUL. The first sign consists of two parts. (i) First, the sign for HAPPY is made. The hands take the shape of open 5 with fingers apart and palms facing inwards. The hands are placed lying over the chest and make a small, hurried movement as though dusting something off but staying in the same place. (ii) Then the hands change to the shape of 1 and move up over the sides of the lips as though pulling them to the side. The index jerks outwards and upwards. The signer smiles. The second sign is the sign for HAPPY, that is, the first part of the first sign.
