Is-sinjal għal APPARAT isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieqaf fuq quddiem livell tar-ras, forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba’ apparti u bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 imma bis-swaba’ milwijin stretti mill-għekiesi bil-pala tħares ’il barra. Din l-id iddur ’il quddiem u lura bl-għaksa tas-saba’ l-kbir jistrieħ fuq il-pala tal-id il-wieqfa.
The sign for EQUIPMENT is made with both hands. One hand is held stationary at head level at the front in the shape of 5 with the fingers apart and palm facing the side. The other hand takes the shape of 5 but with the fingers bent tightly at the knuckles with the palm facing outwards. This hand turns forward and backwards with the knuckle of the thumb leaning against the palm of the stationary hand.
