Hemm żewġ sinjali jixxiebħu għal APPASSJONAT(A). L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet li jidħlu f’xulxin qishom parti waħda. (i) L-ewwel l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 ftit ikkurvata u jduru minn ftit ’il barra mill-ġnub tal-wiċċ. (ii) Imbagħad l-idejn jimxu ’l quddiem u ’l isfel waqt li jingħalqu f’ponn qishom qabdu xi ħaġa. It-tieni sinjal ukoll għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel, l-ewwel tlett iswaba’ ta’ id waħda, bil-pala tħares ’il barra, jitgħawġu waqt li l-id iddur biex il-pala tiġi tħares ’il ġewwa. (ii) Sadattant l-id tingħalaq f’ponn u l-id l-oħra ukoll tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn. L-idejn jinġibdu lura.
There are two similar signs for PASSIONATE. The first sign has two parts that blend as though they were one. (i) First the hands take the shape of slightly curved 5 and rotate out and down from a distance along the side of the face. (ii) Then the hands move forwards and downwards whilst they close into a fist as though grabbing something. The second sign also has two parts. (i) First, the first three fingers of one hand, with palm facing outwards, twist whilst the hand turns so that the palm faces inwards. (ii) Meanwhile, the hand closes into a fist shape and the other hand also takes a fist shape. Both hands are pulled back.
