Is-sinjal għal ARĊISQOF isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn il-pala tal-id l-oħra. L-idejn l-ewwel jersqu ’l bogħod minn xulxin imbagħad jitilgħu flimkien ’l fuq l-ewwel fid-dritt imbagħad jidħlu iktar lejn ir-ras sakemm jiltaqgħu ’il fuq mir-ras. Dan il-moviment ifakkar fil-forma tal-mitra li tintlibes fuq ir-ras mill-arċisqfijiet. Is-sinjal jixbaħ is-sinjal għal ISQOF.
The sign for ARCHBISHOP is made with both hands in the shape of closed 5 with palms facing each other. Both hands first move away from each other then move straight up together and then more towards the head so that they meet over the head. In this way they form a shape that reminds one of the mitre worn by archbishops. This sign resembles that for BISHOP.
