Is-sinjali għal ATENI jsir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ F. Id waħda titqiegħed fuq ġenb wieħed livell ’il fuq mill-ispalla bil-pala tħares laġenba. L-id l-oħra titqiegħed iktar ’l isfel, bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa u ftit laġenba. L-idejn jitilgħu u jinżlu kontra xulxin qishom qed jirranġaw il-bilanċ tal-kejl waqt li jimxu lejn in-naħa l-oħra.
The sign for ATHENS is made with both hands in the shape of F. One hand is placed on one side above shoulder level with palm facing sideways. The other hand is placed further down with palm facing inwards and slightly sideways. The hands are raised and lowered in opposite directions to each other as they move towards the other side.
