Hemm żewġ sinjali jixxiebħu għal ATTIV(A). L-ewwel sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal GĦAMEL biż-żewġ idejn forma ta’ U. Is-swaba’ ta’ id jolqtu s-swaba’ tal-id l-oħra kif jiġu fuq xulxin. (ii) Imbagħad l-idejn jinbidlu għall-forma ta’ 5 miftuħa bis-swaba’ separati u jimxu bl-iskossi l-ewwel lejn naħa imbagħad lejn in-naħa l-oħra. L-għajnejn jinfetħu beraħ. It-tieni sinjal għandu erba’ partijiet li jidħlu f’xulxin. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal ĦABB (XI ĦAĠA). Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluqa li titqiegħed malajr fuq il-geddum. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal GĦAMEL bħall-ewwel parti tal-ewwel sinjal. (iii) Wara, jsir is-sinjal għal ĦAFNA. Id waħda tintlewa mill-għekiesi u l-id tingħalaq u tinfetaħ malajr darba jew iktar. (iv) Fl-aħħar issir it-tieni parti tal-ewwel sinjal.
There are two similar signs for ACTIVE. The first sign has two parts. (i) First the sign for MAKE is made with both hands in the shape of U. The fingers of one hand hit those of the other as the hands cross over each other. (ii) Then the hands change to the shape of open 5 with fingers apart. The hands move jerkily first on one side and then on the other. The eyes are wide open. The second sign has four parts that blend into each other. (i) First the sign for LIKE is made. One hand takes the shape of closed 5 and is placed quickly over the chin. (ii) Then the sign for MAKE is made as in the first part of the first sign. (iii) The sign for A LOT is made next. One hand is bent at the knuckles and closes and opens quickly once or more. (iv) Finally the second part of the first sign is made.
