Is-sinjal għal ATTUR isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ A bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u s-saba’ l-kbir maħruġ ’il barra. L-idejn iduru taħt l-ispallel bħal rota, kontra xulxin, ’l fuq u ’l quddiem imbagħad ’l isfel u lura, bis-saba’ l-kbir imiss ħafif mas-sider.
Is-sinjali għal XOGĦOL u għal FILM ġieli jintużaw minflok. Is-sinjal għal XOGĦOL isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ ponn bil-pala ta kull id tħares laġenba u ponn wieħed jitqiegħed fuq l-ieħor. Is-sinjal għal FILM isir biż-żewġ idejn jew b’id waħda. The sign for ACTOR is made with both hands in the shape of A with palms facing downwards and the thumb jutting out. The hands rotate, just below the shoulders, alternately like a wheel, upwards and forwards then downwards and backwards with the thumb touching the chest.
Sometimes the signs for WORK and for FILM are used instead. The sign for WORK is made with both hands in the shape of a fist with the palms facing sideways. One fist is placed over the other. The sign for FILM is made with one or two hands. One hand may take the shape of 5 with palm sideways. It is placed in front of the side of the face. This part is often omitted. The other hand, palm sideways, takes the shape of T with the index finger touching the thumb. The hand rotates forward, downwards and back close to the stationary hand as though winding a film around the spool.
