Hemm żewġ sinjali differenti għal AĦDAR. L-ewwel sinjal hu għall-kulur. Isir bl-idejn forma ta’ 5. Id waħda tieqaf fuq quddiem bid-driegħ mimdud u bil-pala tħares ’il fuq. L-id l-oħra, ukoll bil-pala tħares ’il fuq, timxi fuq id-driegħ wieqaf, mill-id sal-minkeb. It-tieni sinjal jintuża bħala sinjal għat-tifsira metaforika, jiġifieri, KATTIV. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ I bil-pala tħares ’il barra u tagħti żewġ skossi ’l barra fil-ġenb. L-espressjoni tal-wiċċ turi dispreġju bit-tikmix tal-ħuġbejn u tax-xufftejn.
There are two different signs for GREEN. The first sign is that for the colour. This is made with both hands in the shape of 5. One hand is held stationary with the arm lying horizontally and with palm facing upwards. The other hand, also with palm facing upwards, moves on the stationary arm, from the hand to the elbow. The second sign is used for the metaphorical meaning, that is, for CRUEL. One hand takes the shape of I with palm facing outwards. The hand makes two jerky movements forward at the side. The facial expression shows disgust through the frowning eyebrows and upper lip.
