Is-sinjal għal BANANA jsir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn laxk u tieqaf fuq quddiem bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ T u ddur fuq l-id il-wieqfa u tintlewa ’l fuq u ’l isfel xi darbtejn qisu qed taqbad biċċa mill-qoxra tal-banana biex tesponi l-frotta.
The sign for BANANA is made with both hands. One hand takes the shape of a loose fist and is held stationary at the front with palm facing inwards. The other hand takes the shape of T and turns over the stationary hand, bending upwards and downwards twice or more as though grasping a piece of banana skin to expose the fruit.
