Is-sinjal għal IBBREJKJA għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal imqassar għal KARROZZA. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ ponn bil-pala tal-id tħares ’il ġewwa. L-idejn jitilgħu u jinżlu darba kontra xulxin ftit ’il bogħod minn xulxin bħallikieku qed iżommu l-isteering wheel. (ii) Imbagħad id waħda ddur biex il-pala tħares ’il barra u jagħfas ’l isfel waqt li l-id l-oħra tibqa’ fl-istess pożizzjoni ta’ qabel.
The sign for BRAKE has two parts. (i) The first part is the shortened sign for CAR. It is made with both hands in the shape of a fist with the palms facing inwards. The hands move up in opposite directions a little apart from each other as though holding a steering wheel. (ii) Then one hand turns so that the palm faces outwards and presses down whilst the other hand stays put as in the first part.
