Hemm żewġ sinjali għal BERGĦUD. L-ewwel sinjal isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ V kkurvata u tinżel mill-ġenb mil-livell ’l fuq mill-ispalla għal fuq id-driegħ tal-id l-oħra. Imbagħad, l-id tinfetaħ f’5 kkurvata u l-ponot tas-swaba’ imissu ħafif mal-wiċċ tad-driegħ. Dan ifakkar fil-ħakk ta’ gidma ta’ xi bergħud
It-tieni sinjal għandu tlett partijiet: (jew i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal KELB, jiġifieri l-id tieħu l-forma ta’ U wieqfa ma’ ġenb in-ngħas, bil-pala ta’ l-id tħares ‘il barra. Iż-żewġt iswaba’ jinżlu dritti ’l isfel mill-għaksa mingħajr ma tiċċaqlaq l-id. (jew ii) Is-saba’ ta’ id waħda jieħu l-forma ta’ X, jinżel malajr fuq id-driegħ l-ieħor qisu qed iniggżu. (jew iii) L-id tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 mgħawweġ u togħrok l-istess post fuq id-driegħ fejn sar it-tingiż. Dan ifakkrek fil-ħakk ta’ gidma ta’ xi bergħud.
L-espressjoni tal-wiċċ f’sentenzi fejn issir enfasi fuq il-kwantità jew l-irritazzjoni assoċjati mal-bergħud, tinkludi t-tikmix tal-parti madwar l-għajnejn li donnhom jiċkienu. Ix-xufftejn ukoll jiffurmaw nofs ċirku jħares ‘l isfel biex jesprimu stmerrija.
There are two signs for FLEA. The first sign is made with one hand in the shape of curved V. The hand moves down from the side above shoulder level onto the other arm. Then it opens up into a curved 5 shape and the fingertips rub the surface of the arm lightly. This reminds one of rubbing a flea bite.
The second sign is made up of three parts: (jew i) The sign for DOG, that is, the hand is in the shape of upright U at the side of the forehead, palm facing outwards. The two fingers are bent straight over without any hand movement. (jew ii) The finger of the hand takes the shape of X and moves down quickly on the (jew other) upper arm as though injecting it. (jew iii) Then the hand takes a curved 5 shape and rubs the same place on the arm. This reminds one of scratching a flea bite.
The facial expression in sentences emphasizing the quantity or irritation related to fleas, involves wrinkling the whole area around the eyes, minimizing the size of the eyes. The lips form an inverted half circle to express disgust.
