Is-sinjal għal BIĊĊIER għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal QATEL BIS-SIKKINA. Id waħda tieqaf mill-minkeb u tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb jew ’il ġewwa. Tinżel b’żewġ skossi żgħar ’l isfel lejn in-nofs. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal ANNIMAL. L-Id tinbidel billi l-werrej u s-saba’ ż-żgħir jistiraw ’l fuq. Fl-istess ħin is-swaba’ tan-nofs imissu s-saba’ l-kbir waqt li jistiraw ’l barra. Il-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. L-id taqbeż b’żewġ skossi żgħar lejn il-ġenb
Jeżistu varjanti ta’ dan is-sinjal li jiddependu mill-annimal li jiġi maqtul u l-għodda użata.
The sign for SLAUGHTER HOUSE BUTCHER has two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for KILL WITH A KNIFE. One hand is held upright elbow up and takes the shape of a fist with the palm facing sideways or inwards. It moves down in two small jerky movements towards the middle. (ii) Then the sign for ANIMAL is made. The hand changes so that the index finger and the pinkie are stretched straight up whilst the middle fingers touch the thumb as they stretch out. The hand moves towards the side in two jerky movements.
Variants of the sign exist depending on the animal being slaughtered and the weapon used.
