Is-sinjal għal BIBBJA magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għal KTIEB. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq u jinfetħu minn ma’ xulxin, jiġifieri minn pala ma’ pala bil-ponot tas-swaba’ jħarsu ’l barra, u jiġu bil-pala tħares ’il fuq waqt li jibqgħu jmissu mill-ġenb tas-swaba’ ż-żgħar. (ii) Imbagħad id waħda tibqa’ wieqfa bil-pala tħares ’il fuq waqt li l-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ A u tifforma salib żgħir bis-saba’ l-kbir ftit ’il fuq mill-id il-wieqfa.
The sign for BIBLE consists of two parts. (i) In the first part the sign for BOOK is made. Both hands take the shape of closed 5 with palms touching and fingertips pointing outwards. The hands open up such that the palms face upwards whilst the hands touch at the side of the little finger. (ii) Then one hand is held stationary with the palm facing upwards whilst the other hand takes the shape of A and forms the shape of a small cross with the thumb a little above the stationary hand.
