Is-sinjal għal BINI isir biż-żewġ idejn forma ta’ ponn. Il-ponn ta’ id jitqiegħed fuq il-ponn tal-id l-oħra quddiem is-sider. Il-ponn li jkun taħt jitqiegħed fuq l-ieħor u b’hekk jitilgħu l-fuq f’xi tlett passi jew iktar. Dan ifakkar fil-bennej iqiegħed ġebla fuq oħra.

Is-sinjal għal STABBILIMENT ġieli jintuża qabel jew wara dan is-sinjal meta wieħed irid ifisser BINI speċjalment meta jkun hemm bżonn referenza kemm għall-attività, “bena”, kif ukoll għar-riżultat, il-“bini”. Is-sinjal għal STABBILIMENT isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l- forma ta’ 1 bil-pala tal-id tħares ’il barra. Il-werrej ta’ id imiss mal-werrej tal-id l-oħra livell mal-wiċċ. L-idejn jitbiegħdu laġenba u ’l isfel u jiffurmaw linja b’angolu rett.

The sign for BUILDING is made with both hands in fist shape. One fist is placed over the other in front of the chest. The bottom fist moves on top of the other fist so that the fists move upwards in three or more steps. This reminds one of the mason placing stones on top of each other.

The sign for ESTABLISHMENT is often used as a prefix or suffix when it is necessary to refer to BUILDING especially when a distinction is being made between the activity itself “to build” and the resulting structure “building”. The sign for ESTABLISHMENT is made with both hands in the shape of 1 with palms facing outwards. The index fingers touch and then move away to the side and then downwards to form right angles.
