Is-sinjal għal BIRO jsir b’id waħda forma ta’ ponn bis-saba’ l-kbir maħruġ ’il fuq, fuq il-ġenb bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-id tinżel djagonalment ’l isfel u lejn in-nofs waqt li s-saba’ l-kbir jagħfas ’l isfel.
The sign for BIRO is made with one hand in the shape of a fist with the thumb extended upwards at the side with the palm facing inwards. The hand moves diagonally downwards and towards the middle whilst the thumb pushes downwards.
