Is-sinjal għal BOOKCASE għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal KOTBA. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 u jibdew pala ma’ pala. Imbagħad jinfetħu bħal ktieb bil-pala tħares ’il fuq waqt li l-ġnub tan-naħa tas-saba’ ż-żgħir jinżammu flimkien. Jerġgħu jinfetħu u jingħalqu xi tlett darbiet. (ii) Imbagħad id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ C bil-pala tħares ’il barra fil-livell ta’ fuq ir-ras. L-id titqiegħed ’il quddiem xi tlett darbiet waqt li timxi lejn il-ġenb.
The sign for BOOKCASE has two parts. (i) First the sign for BOOKS is made. The hands take the shape of 5 and start off with palms together. Then the palms open up like a book with the palms facing upwards whilst the pinkie sides keep together. The opening and closing is repeated about three times. (ii) Then one hand takes the shape of C with the palm facing outwards at above head level. The hand is placed forward about three times as the hand moves along towards the side.
